Selling your Home and Buying a new home at the same time.

Buying a new home at the same time as you’re selling your old home is all about timing — and some luck, of course. And while you can’t control everything that happens during the complicated buying and selling process, there are some things you can do to set yourself up for smooth closings.⁠⁠

Put your home on the market, before you start looking for a new home. Once your current home is under contract, will you look for a home to close simultaneously or wait until your current home sells.

 Always have a "Plan B"!  If you sell your current home without finding another to move into soon after closing. Make a plan to find alternative living arrangements while still searching for your new home.
